The Ability To Instill Hope

all face times with great difficulties and negative situations. In theses times we must and can instill Hope. The pandemic we are currently facing is an attack by a “hidden enemy." Precautions and fear are everywhere. People are confused and solutions are different from all different experts. Wear a mask, no don’t wear a mask – go to work maybe you shouldn’t work. It is in these type of tough times - Lead with Hope. Do you ever wonder if the sky will be bright and clear again? Do you ever wonder will we be locked down and plain old stuck in mud forever? The fact is, there are “naysayer critics” everywhere, and in the midst of that we have and opportunity to bring hope, peace, and love. We can be known as

in the midst of terrible times. Why? Because of the author of our faith. God Himself said, “do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” There will be troubling times and we are promised that in God’s Word; Jesus Himself promises us quote "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." God does not promise anyone of us the absence of troubles. We can all hang our hats on His promise. Beth and I teach the children in our Good News Clubs 2 verses that we all need to hang on to in these times: Hebrews 13:5 “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Hebrews 13:6 "The LORD is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?" Look at these verses for great encouragement and hope. Psalm 27:1 “The LORD is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid"

Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Romans 8:37-39 "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Verse 38 "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come," Verse 39 "nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God."
