Two young ladies, Marie and Emily, were attracted to Christ through a local Good News Club. The family was touched by the change in these girls lives. Tonight, they are being baptized and telling the world they are now Christ’s followers (snatched from the grip of Satan)! The young ladies will be serving as summer missionaries in CEF Christian Youth in Action, or CYIA - a ministry for youth and college age to serve the Lord and help with the 5 day Clubs in their communities. Think for a moment about all God used to bring these children to this decision. A dedicated elderly lady, age 82, praying and setting up the club in the school. A team of prayer warriors praying during the hours of the club. Many shut in and are no longer able physically to help in the club. A team of well trained volunteers who dedicate their time to help in the club. A teacher who regularly studies and prepares the Bible lessons. A church that was committed to follow and establish them and their families for continued growth. A pastor committed to kingdom building. A lot of others provided funds for materials, teaching aids and snacks for the club. Much more.....never think what part you play is insignificant, each is a partner in ministry. Not only are the girls being baptized tonight, but also the whole family has decided to join the church to grow to be more like Christ. God has done a great work in the life of this immigrant family. Praise be to God!
