Is God Truly Alive In You?

God is alive in us! “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” Powerful words given as a gift of obedience. God is calling on us to totally commit to serving Him in all we do, say, and think. God wants to be Number One in our lives. Once you have heard Gods Word, personal desires are trumped by The desires of God; the highest of all callings is a personal relationship with God. The Highest calling of the Lord Jesus in our lives. Look around and ask yourself a question....Are our lives and our daily activities reflecting the highest calling on our lives?

Do we ever find ourselves... 1. Questioning something (everything) but doing nothing? 2. Are we dedicated and committed to the work of God? 3. Are we seeing the commands of God as options? 4. Are we or our families trying to live without growing spiritually? Personal devotions, church etc.

How is it working out ? Have you noted how well it is working out in society? Why.......? 1. Are we seeking self satisfaction, entertainment and selfish ambitions? 2. Are we Comparing ourselves to other Christians, rather than comparing ourselves with Son of God? 3. Are we making a joyful noise unto the Lord? Why is it we can be life of the party but not the life of the Church? What role has God called you to? 4. Are we Selfish and lazy spiritually and wondering why our children are also? The fact is, our children watch and do in excess much of what we as parents do in limited fashion. What needs to be done? 1. Totally committed to God first,

then to our families and then to each other. Be strong in the Lord. Walk with the Lord Jesus through life. 2. Be strong in the Lord stand up and do what God has called us to do. (Immediate obedience) 3. Are we 24/7 Christians or are we "on and off" Christians? This would be easier if we guard what enters our minds. The pictures, the words, and the actions we witness will take a toll on us, our families and nation. 4. What God has in store for us is amazing. Recognize the world is temporal, but eternally started the day you were born. It is a choice where you and your children want to spend eternity. Once you accept Christ as a personal Savior and Lord, we become peculiar people, different from the world. We are no longer condemned. We should be recognized as different. 5. It is a Heart decision. It is Volunteerism on steroids ...God does not push Himself on us. 6. Are we wanting to please God and glorify His name? God has done so much for us willingly. Willingly, He bore the cross and all the sins of mankind; past, present, and future, so that you and I can go to heaven. 7. Are we giving God personal praise?! Not only for the good, but also the bad? Do we understand God has a plan and we can not thwart it. Everything we experience is because a loving God allows it. We may not understand, but believe me He does.
