Along with Stay challenged we need to; Stay Connected! People have a need to seek help (from others) and provide help to others. People connect to similar sensibilities, orientations and interests. People want reassurance of worth and value. The Holy Spirit is the connecting point and he brings about the family of God. Hebrews 10:25 “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another and so much more, as you see the day approaching.” Stay Confident! Preach and teach the Truth with boldness. Be ready - I Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give an answer (defense) to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear (awe).” Confidently convince and speak out, knowing it is the Holy Spirit that is at work. Rebuke and exhort where necessary. Stand tall and know that the Bible speaks to every point of who we are: A. The Bible convinces the mind. B. The Bible convicts the will. C. The Bible comforts the heart. We are to watch vigilantly as watchmen on the walls; know your times and season in God’s providential plan ...Reckon with the future. All the wires have been tripped in God’s warning system, and we are on red alert! Our Love for Christ is incentive enough for us to wait for His return. Stand by, because something wonderful is about to happen. God is able to do more. Jesus is always plan A. God knows and cares about you. There is no shortage of matter in God’s universe. God is able to provide everything you need. He is able to do more than you and I can image. C.S. Lewis says, “... we are far far too easily pleased.” We can ask God for a better imagination. Ask God in 2019. His power is at work with us today and in 2019! Stay Consistent! Be patient ...God has the timetable Preserve and endure. ..win the race that God has you on. The apostle Paul writes, "Therefore we are also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and sin which easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the author of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him, edited the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2 Keep on doing what God calls you to do and do it for His glory not yours. Be willing to suffer if necessary. Keep the main thing the main thing. The greatest threat is not failure, but instead succeeding in things that are not important.
