Let Me Get Your ATTENTION

A famous 18th century painter stood admiring a painting fresco while high above the ground. He was deeply admiring his finished work while standing on the rickety scaffolding more than two stories in the air. He was deeply engrossed, observing his masterpiece as he took a step backwards - then another step. Someone noticing he was on a few inches away from falling to his death had to act quickly. God sent us His Son Jesus to become a man, though He was God. God graciously wanted the Son to experience what man has experienced, so we could believe on Him and be saved and not perish. He suffered pain and experienced hate and hunger. He is good at getting our attention. We have a choice to turn toward the welcoming arms of God or to turn our backs on God and His Son. What has God, the ONE and ONLY done to get your attention? What was your response? Are you too busy, fat and happy, but taking a step backwards on the scaffold of life, thinking I am ok. Step back just a little further as you admire yourself and your accomplishments and ...
