Am I Right Or Are you Wrong?!

No one likes to admit they are wrong, including me. Some of us will never admit when we are wrong, even though the rationale says otherwise. Society encourages this way of thinking. We are seeing this more often as we become more polarized everyday. Recently my wife and I were discussing the deep divisions in our country, churches and families. We could not help but ask ourselves the question, "how have people become such lunatics?" Which led to further questions; 1 How can a crime become so prevalent?

2. How can the disgusting become acceptable?

3. How can the sin become so tolerated?

4. How has hateful and disrespectful language become such a common place occurrence? Life has become meaningless to so many as they seek the illusion of Utopia. Has our world improved and gotten better, even with all the technological advances and other such freedoms? Has the murder rate gone down in the inner cities? Have the challenges of broken marriages and families been mended? With the bombardment of options and choices, along with instant gratification, have we seen a binding together of our society? Have we more races and cultures living and striving in unity? Has leaving and even pushing God out of our national character worked? Has refusing to recognize God as creator of human life changed our value system and cheapened life? Has the lack of fear and reverence of God brought about the best for mankind? Americans are becoming more polarized than ever. Whether by design or unintended consequences, it is not good. The old saying, “divide and conquer” is applicable in our thinking today. Polarization is not limited to only our country, but also the church and to “Christian” men and women. Some Christian leaders advocate preaching the Bible and some Christians adhere to the Word of God. Others are using scissors and white-out to remove the essence of God’s Word. Relativism has become the new avenue of thought rather than the TRUTH of GOD’S Word. This is dividing the church just like everything else. The mantra among mankind today has become “That was then, this is now.” Mankind is trying to morph the Truth to fit their specific thoughts and desires. The definition of sin and of meaning are being bastardized. The attempt to redefine sin and morality will lead to polarization. Moving away from God will lead to polarization. Fake news and dishonesty will lead to polarization. Humans are being led astray by the false premise that we decide what is good and what is evil. You see, God created mankind authority to rule over earth as representatives of God. Yet we were led down the road to death and destruction. We also see this at the Tower of Babel; mankind tries to elevate themselves to be gods. All throughout history we see God’s judgement on sin and the sad, desperate results. Jesus is coming soon to destroy this world and to free this world from corruption. It won’t matter anymore what you believe to be the truth because we will see what the TRUTH is . “Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus is Lord.”
