Extending Kindness And Respect Are Great Attributes Of Great Leadership

How you treat others does make a difference. The most successful leaders know how to treat people kindly. Kindness is not merely positive platitudes, but instead it is how we make others feel, how we inspire them, and how we as leaders help people to think about themselves. Kindness in mentoring and coaching is a great attribute in affective leadership. This does not imply only "yes-yes" leadership but also "no" leadership. Accountability is still needed in any good leadership model. But we can all extend kindness - and in doing so, we can make a difference in people’s lives and bring honor to God. Spontaneous acts of kindness are wonderful proof of the leaders sincerity. But actually well thought out, planned, and intentional acts of kindness are also necessary in your leadership strategy - fulfilling needs. How can we, as Christian leaders, show kindness to others in a way to honor, praise, and glorify God? How can we ensure the action of kindness is attributed to God? It starts in the heart and then just as other praise flows from our lips, this too should also flow off our lips in praise. A missing thought in much of society and leadership today is; “The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created man in His image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore, every person of every race possesses full dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.” I believe the attitude leadership regarding the value of life and people has a direct correlation on kindness and peace. Grace and mercy are intentional acts of kindness. Encouragement, financial assistance, care and ministry to those in any type of need are all acts of kindness, but the greatest act of kindness is sharing the GOSPEL. The eternal future of every soul is the only lasting result of kindness. Romans 5: 8 “But God shows His love for us in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us.” Lifeway Explore The Bible.
