Children With Vision

“There is a recognition that we are losing the children of the world spiritually.” There are startling statistics and sobering results that young adults are departing not only the through the doors of our churches, but even worse taking antagonistic positions against Bible Truths. They are moving away from a Biblical worldview. Children are facing unprecedented challenges within our culture today. They are being taught God is irrelevant and truth is subjective. We need to pray about this and start influencing the destinies of our children. These are critical days, time is quickly approaching when we may no longer have this opportunity. We must see children differently, children are more connected to world than ever before. We need to see them as being raised to be spiritual champions and agents of change, that God is going to use in different parts of society. Did you know that 353,000 babies are born everyday?! Did you know most people who are coming to know Christ come to a saving knowledge of the Lord before they are 15 years of age? Did you know that church budgets are on average only about 3 % for children’s ministries. Why do you think that is? Won’t it be amazing, when every public school has a Good News Club and children lives are transformed eternally! What if these same children were trained to be children vision and they would learn how to lead other children and adults to the foot of the cross. The fact is missiologists have changed their focus from just reaching the unreached peoples group in the 10 /40 Window in the “resistant belt”. In keeping with defining a window by latitudes, it is important to recognize another window inside the latitude window, the 4-14 window. This window is not geographical, but instead a population demographics (children ages 4-14). Children are actually being trained to become the missionaries at these young ages. Placing our children in the Word that they may know Christ, and teaching the fullness of the gospel will change everything as they reach out enthusiastically to their peers. “ To maximize the transformational impact of children we must address the spiritual, physical and social issues they face.” Why you might ask? The answer is simple: “change the children change the world.” “ We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generations the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His might, and wonders that he has done.” Psalm 78:4
