Unlikely Leaders To The Rescue!

There Are Millions of Unlikely People Who Can Be Great Leaders Everyday I wake up, I am reminded of God and His unique ways. Most of all, I am impressed and thankful for his goodness and mercy. If anyone chooses to take the time to reflect and look back over their lives, you will see a divinely led mosaic of decisions and choices that have brought you this far. Why did this or that happen? Why did this person cross my path? Why did I make this or that decision? Why did I win or lose at this or that? How is it the sun always rises each morning and sets every evening? What vision or dream have I chosen to follow or not? Why am I in this family or why am I this nationality? Is it all by chance or is there a design and reason for all of this? God is full of surprises I have been blessed to have now walked with the Lord now nearly 50 years. Sometimes it has been a shoulder to shoulder walk; sometimes it has been a walk where I could only see a faint view of Him and other times I walked in His shadow. But he never left me or forsook me. He promised in Hebrews " I will never leave or forsake you." He was always in view. Why he chose me to be one of His children and pluck me out of my only destiny without Him ...Hell... is truly an overwhelming thought. I am a wretched sinner saved by the sacrifice of a Loving Savior and Lord. His blood poured out on the cross for me is the best gift I could of ever received. Hopefully each of you who read this also knows Him and believes in Him. Everything else, and I mean everything else, pales to this reality. God is full of surprises I have watched God raise up leaders from lowly stations in life to lead. He used lowly fisherman, tax collectors and zealots to lead the most influential movement in human history. The Miracle of our nation was initiated by farmers, teachers and printers, along with soldiers and business leaders. Young and old, these unlikely leaders dot the landscapes of history. Have you read the biographies of the leaders who stand out in history as the good and great leaders? Most come from humble beginnings, and through a series of choices, decisions and Gods surprises, became the heroes and models for us all to recognize today. Start to look for your new leaders in the lowly and meek, and watch what God does as he moves. Enjoy the surprises...I certainly do.
