Do I Trust You To Lead?

Trust Trust And More Trust Is Needed To Lead

The dictionary defines Trust as the "assured reliance on character, ability, strength or truth of someone or something." We are facing days of deep divides in trust. A day when all sides of the answers depend on relativism and few know what truth is. The idea of creating doubt rather than reinforcing trust has been leading to history's biggest divide. We all have heard the quote a "house divided can not stand ... " That appears to be the tool the devil is using to destroy the fabric of freedom and success in our country, businesses and churches. In leadership today there are trust builders and trust busters. The Trust Busters 1. Breaking of confidentiality.... Leakers 2. Lack of integrity...fake and made up news 3. Talking about people and even sending out correspondence about people with negative leanings with sedition in mind....deep state 4. Poli-ticking ... Politics of personal destruction 5. Creating very unrealistic expectations ... Wanting people to do what God can only do. 6. Disrespect and no thought of the ramifications of such disrespect. Many today are working toward the destruction of the very freedom they now enjoy. They are blinded to the truth and one day will look back and ask themselves was it worth it ...only to answer with tears flowing down their face with a resounding no, realizing they are now in an even much worse position with very little chance to regain what they have lost. They will realize they have been pawns in the Devils hand. 7. Elitism and exceptionalism ... These are the people who think they know it all.. Many of these grace the halls of academia, government, politics, churches and the media, all part of the insider team. This is where favoritism takes hold of the leader's mind and it creates a deep lack of trust in the minds of those who are not treated to that position - " The good old boys club." The Trust Builders 1. Authenticity...know and live what you believe. 2. Consistent conduct. Your actions match your words. 3. Being truthful and knowing where to look to for the ultimate and absolute TRUTH. 4. Humility, transparency 5. Listening and understanding with heart of empathy. 6. Follow through in a timely manner. 7. Care and love for others ...when making decisions, as much as possible involve those affected by the decision. In today's world we see man trying to solve the challenges of the day... mans ways. Never has it been more important to seek wisdom and truth from Gods Word. That is why a big trust builder for a Christian leader is for those around you to see that your leadership is guided by your walk with God. The Bible says, "thy word is a lamp unto my feet and light unto path" Psalm 119:105 People who see genuine leaders as genuine people will follow and forgive.
