We Live In One Of Two Worlds

Philippians 1:21. " For me to live is Christ and die is gain." Philippians 2:21 " For everyone looks out for his (other) own interests, not those of Jesus Christ." What are the values you hold as most important? Do you think only tangible or do you think intangibles also? Do you think only temporal or do you think eternally? What are the tangibles 1. Friends 2. Time 3. House, car and possessions 4. Leisure and free time / Entertainment 5. Retirement / investment 6. Things and belongings 7. Work, occupation, business and or ministry 8. Schedules What are the intangibles 1. Worldview .... Is it a Biblical Worldview? 2. Reputation 3. Integrity 4. Truth 5. Core beliefs and values 6. Goals and acting on goals 7. God's Words and becoming as Christ 8. Sacrifice and giving 8. Heaven and the rewards 9. Power of Gods Spirit living in you. Surrender It All...God wants all of us. Present it all to Him in and attitude of worship. Make it all available to God. Give it all up to Him. How much are you hanging on to? Why? The apostle Paul writes in Romans 12:1-3 "I beseech you therefore, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you not think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith." Ask yourself, what is that to which a man gives his life? Is it only the temporal or is it the eternal? Everything we do we must keep in mind the intangibles. Ruth Graham, the wife of the great evangelist Billy Graham kept the tangibles focused on the intangibles. She had a hand written sign over her kitchen sink which said, "worship takes place here three times a day." She realized her call was to be be a homemaker, wife and mother and every

time she did the dishes she could also glorify God. Everything you and I do can be tangible but never forget the intangibles ..glorify God in all we do, say and think.
