The End Justifies The Means

The End Justifies The Means We finished club with a invitation for the children to show, by looking up during the prayer time, if they wanted to know more about a personal relationship with Jesus. If they showed their interest they were told to follow Beth to the back of the room for a better understanding and / or if they had any specific questions that Beth could answer by showing the answers from Gods Word. So a young boy 8 year old came to where Beth met the children for counseling.. She asked the lad, Why did you come to see me? To which he responded, I want to know more about God. Then Beth went through the plan of salvation and asked him if he understood. She asked if he was a sinner? To which he replied, "yes". She went on... did he want his sins to be forgiven and did he want Jesus as His Savior? Did he believe Jesus had died and shed his precious blood for him? He was told Jesus was buried and on the third day he arose from the grave so you can go to live with him in heaven. After the counseling Beth asked him if he wanted to pray or to repeat a prayer after her. Beth told him the words are not magic but if he really meant business with God, God would enter his life and become the "boss" of his life. He prayed a beautiful prayer and asked God to forgive him of his sins and he said, I love you Jesus with all my heart...please save me. This boy told Beth he has a very difficult home life and is sad ...Beth encouraged him and they both prayed for the situations this new child of God is facing in his home.
